DJ-A US strike on Iran would end Trump's dream of a second presidential term and put the (western) world in the biggest crisis since 1945. Most likely it would be the end of NATO (with Turkey being on the Iran-side).

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/06/white-house-pushes-trump-pulled-back-story-he-likely-never-approved-to-strike-iran.html

DJ-Shooting down a US UAV-wether over Iran or international-close to Iran-waters-is sending a clear Iran message. The US is crossing Iran red lines, further US actions of the same sort will get the same response. (https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/06/iran-shoots-down-strategic-us-drone-is-ready-for-war-puts-maximum-pressure-on-trump-.html The strait is that narrow that or the UAV was in Oman or Iran airspace-there may not have been "international airspace" left.)

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/news-nation/iran-if-we-cannot-sell-our-oil-no-one-else-can-philadelphia-refinery-explodes DJ-If these incidents have anything to do with Iran the US (already) has a very major problem wich only will get much worse in case of war.

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/06/trump-is-afraid-of-a-shooting-war-but-iran-has-also-other-means-to-damage-him.html DJ-The strait of Hormuz is a main oil-transport route. Making oil production and transportation harder will effect the global market. Still the US-Iran's main enemy-will only be effected limited since the US-for now-is the largest oil/gas producer in the world. Pushing up energy prices will make energy production in the US make profits.

From that point of view LOW energyprices will damage the US, KSA more than high prices will. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-21/conflict-iran-quickly-spirals-out-control-oil-gold-surge-higher (DJ-Maybe the goal of this "conflict" is pushing up fossil fuel prices-war may be unwanted by both US, KSA and Iran, Russia-all would profit from higher energy prices. Would also fit in with climate plans-so producers of solar panels EU, China etc. may accept the strategy ?)

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-22/trump-ordered-secret-cyber-attacks-iran-alternative-war-thursday-night, https://www.debka.com/a-new-us-iran-hot-line-more-a-channel-for-miscommunication-than-dialogue/-andhttps://www.debka.com/mivzak/bolton-arrives-in-israel-for-talks-with-netanyahu-on-iran-tensions/

DJ-Who is in control in the White House. What are the US goals ? When the US wants to be "the only superpower" is moving towards conflict with "the rest of the world" a possible route to that goal ? (And is it realistic ?)
Of course Iran is good at cyber-warfare as well.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-22/chinas-aircraft-carrier-battle-group-emerges
DJ-For me one of the main questions is how relations between Russia, China, India and Iran will develop. Does Iran wants to move closer to EurAsia-integration ? Does Iran want to be a main country in a Islamic group of countries (with Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, North Africa) ?

An incomplete list of false flags-excuses to "go to war". https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-21/read-cheering-next-war see also https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-11378601 MI6-history.

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/new-satellite-image-shows-china-beefing-up-military-presence-in-south-china-sea/

DJ-In history divide and rule is the basic motor. For the US to stay the "main superpower" a scenario in wich China ends up in war with Taiwan, Japan and Iran ends up in war with Saudi Arabia/Gulf States-the US stays out of any (further) war could be welcome.

A world with several "blocs" Russia-China, Islamic, and "neutral" (India) would leave room for a leading role for the US. The US starting a war with Iran would push Iran towards Russia and China. The last thing the US should want.

DJ-Both Israel and Saudi Arabia know they will have "a lot of damage" in case of a (US) war with Iran. They both may want "maximum US pressure on Iran" but not war (at least most of the Israel/KSA "elite".)

For the US "elite" another war "would deal with Trump" may be the idea for some of them. Although they rather see a "local conflict" between Iran and "some Gulf states"-without much (open) involvement (like the Yemen genocide) of the US (and UK under boris j.?)

Another "incident" will be a matter of time. Most likely it will be a false flag-but by who ?

DJ-Good summary https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-26/trump-war-president-or-anti-interventionist:

Visualizing 150 Iranian dead from a missile strike that he had ordered, President Donald Trump recoiled and canceled the strike, a brave decision and defining moment for his presidency.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, John Bolton and Vice President Mike Pence had signed off on the strike on Iran as the right response to Tehran’s shootdown of a U.S. Global Hawk spy plane over the Gulf of Oman.

The U.S. claims the drone was over international waters. Tehran says it was in Iranian territory. But while the loss of a $100 million drone is no small matter, no American pilot was lost, and retaliating by killing 150 Iranians would appear to be a disproportionate response.

Good for Trump. Yet, all weekend, he was berated for chickening out and imitating President Barack Obama. U.S. credibility, it was said, has taken a big hit and must be restored with military action.

By canceling the strike, the president also sent a message to Iran: We’re ready to negotiate. Yet, given the irreconcilable character of our clashing demands, it is hard to see how the U.S. and Iran get off this road we are on, at the end of which a military collision seems almost certain.

Consider the respective demands.

Monday, the president tweeted:

“The U.S. request for Iran is very simple — No Nuclear Weapons and No Further Sponsoring of Terror!”

But Iran has no nuclear weapons, has never had nuclear weapons, and has never even produced bomb-grade uranium.

According to our own intelligence agencies in 2007 and 2011, Tehran did not even have a nuclear weapons program.

Under the 2015 nuclear deal, the JCPOA, the only way Iran could have a nuclear weapons program would be in secret, outside its known nuclear facilities, all of which are under constant U.N. inspection.

Where is the evidence that any such secret program exists?

And if it does, why does America not tell the world where Iran’s secret nuclear facilities are located and demand immediate inspections?

“No further sponsoring of terror,” Trump says.

But what does that mean?

As the major Shiite power in a Middle East divided between Sunni and Shiite, Iran backs the Houthi rebels in Yemen’s civil war, Shiite Hezbollah in Lebanon, Alawite Bashar Assad in Syria, and the Shiite militias in Iraq who helped us stop ISIS’s drive to Baghdad.

In his 12 demands, Pompeo virtually insisted that Iran abandon these allies and capitulate to their Sunni adversaries and rivals.

Not going to happen. Yet, if these demands are nonnegotiable, to be backed up by sanctions severe enough to choke Iran’s economy to death, we will be headed for war.

No more than North Korea is Iran going to yield to U.S. demands that it abandon what Iran sees as vital national interests.

As for the U.S. charge that Iran is “destabilizing” the Middle East, it was not Iran that invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, overthrew the Gadhafi regime in Libya, armed rebels to overthrow Assad in Syria, or aided and abetted the Saudis’ intervention in Yemen’s civil war.

Iran, pushed to the wall, its economy shrinking as inflation and unemployment are rising, is approaching the limits of its tolerance.

And as Iran suffers pain, it is saying, other nations in the Gulf will endure similar pain, as will the USA. At some point, collisions will produce casualties and we will be on the up escalator to war.

Yet, what vital interest of ours does Iran today threaten?

Trump, with his order to stand down on the missile strike on Iran, signaled that he wanted a pause in the confrontation.

Still, it needs to be said: The president himself authorized the steps that have brought us to this peril point.

Trump pulled out of and trashed Obama’s nuclear deal. He imposed the sanctions that are now inflicting something close to unacceptable if not intolerable pain on Iran. He had the Islamic Revolutionary Guard declared a terrorist organization. He sent the Abraham Lincoln carrier task force and B-52s to the Gulf region.

If war is to be avoided, either Iran is going to have to capitulate, or the U.S. is going to have to walk back its maximalist position.

And who would Trump name to negotiate with Tehran for the United States?

The longer the sanctions remain in place and the deeper they bite, the greater the likelihood Iran will respond to our economic warfare with its own asymmetric warfare. Has the president decided to take that risk?

We appear to be at a turning point in the Trump presidency.

Does he want to run in 2020 as the president who led us into war with Iran, or as the anti-interventionist president who began to bring U.S. troops home from that region that has produced so many wars?

Perhaps Congress, the branch of government designated by the Constitution to decide on war, should instruct President Trump as to the conditions under which he is authorized to take us to war with Iran.

DJ-Iran has no nuclear program and is not a sponsor of terrorism (Saudi Arabia has both). Demanding from Iran to stop doing things it is not doing or face all out economic destruction (as far as the US can create so) is insane.

It pushes "the world" to deal outside the grasp of the US and in that way is damaging the US-on the long term-even more than Iran.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

DJ It looks like there is an effort to save the Iran deal.

DJ-The reason why the US wants a conflict https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-28/pentagon-still-war-footing-dozen-us-f-22-stealth-jets-arrive-qatar-counter-iran with Iran is quite clear; http://thesaker.is/russia-india-china-will-be-the-big-g20-hit/ Russia-India-China see Iran as a major part of the New Silk Road. A war with Iran is the US idea of stopping EurAsian integration.

A sign of hope in my (DJ) opinion; https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-28/memo-trump-trade-bolton-tulsi:“For too long our leaders have failed us, taking us into one regime change war after the next, leading us into a new Cold War and arms race, costing us trillions of our hard-earned tax payer dollars and countless lives. This insanity must end.”

Donald Trump, circa 2016?

Nope. That denunciation of John Bolton interventionism came from Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii during Wednesday night’s Democratic debate. At 38, she was the youngest candidate on stage.

DJ-Also in Israel a former head of Mossad was asking questions on the wisdom of supporting IS against Assad in Syria. Israel had some sort of coexistence with Syria-supporting IS brought Iran to Israels border.

DJ-Words not swords should rule the world. When the EU is-finally-making clear they want better relations with Iran, Russia, China-even when the US does not, maybe peace has a chance.

DJ-Welcome in the second halve of 2019 ! https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/breaking-news-military-aircraft-shot-down-over-cyprus-possibly-israeli-after-bombing-syria:
OFFICIAL STATEMENT --

According to the government of Cyprus, the wreckage pictured above is that of a Syrian S-200 Missile which was fired at Israeli warplanes while those planes were attacking Syria. The photos, however, do not seem to match the appearance of what would have been an S-200.   This, however, is the "official story."
(DJ-If a F35-JSF was shot down that would be a story the US/NATO wants to cover up. The F35 is the backbone of US, a lot of Nato countries, the US wants to sell that "thing". When a S300 (or even a more widespread S200) can bring this plane down it would be a major disaster for western "defense".)

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-07-01/where-does-trump-go-here-iran DJ-The US "strategy" on Iran has been damaging the US more than Iran. Now even India is getting "close" with Russia and China. The EU has to make a choice between the US and "the rest of the globe".

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/07/no-iran-does-not-break-the-nuclear-deal.html

DJ-Iran only can use it most damaging "weapon" once-effecting the global financial market from the US to India, Russia, China. Most countries want to do "everything" they can to avoid such a situation.

Europe blames the US for the refugee-crisis (due to wars in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya etc.), sanctions on Russia (due to "F..k the EU" on Ukraine by Obama/Nuland). We are dealing with a "once in a 1000 years heatwave" while the US is trying to get other countries out of the Paris-climate-deal.

The US is standing alone (again Saudi Arabia and Israel are doing deals with Russia and China the US does not want other countries to do.)

On Syria there is not agreement between Turkey and Syria, in Yemen the UAE is moving away from Saudi Arabia. South- and Central America is not happy with US (tarif)walls.

It would be wise when the US moves into "damage control" and use diplomacy to keep at least some of the energy market linked to the US$. The present Trump policy would fit in a pro-Russia/China agenda-since more and more international trade is done in Euro's, yuans, rubels etc. or goods.

Urgent consultations in Washington, Moscow on reported US-Russian submarines in firefight
Jul 2, 2019 @ 22:24 Diane Shalem
First reports reaching DEBKAfile’s military sources say that a US submarine intercepted a Russian nuclear sub in American waters opposite Alaska. The Russian sub escorting the nuclear submarine responded with a Balkan 2000 torpedo and scuttled the US vessel. Urgent consultations in both the White House and the Kremlin were taking place on Tuesday night. US Vice President Mike Pence called off an appearance in New Hampshire after being recalled to Washington for a conference called by President Donald Trump without explanation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin cancelled an engagement and headed for the Kremlin to confer with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and military chiefs, after learning that 14 submariners died in a fire that broke out on a nuclear-powered “experimental submarine in Russian waters.” This account carried in Russian media varies in most respects from the first reports reaching this site and may refer to a separate incident. They report between 14 and 17 members of an AS-12 nuclear powered submarine died of poisonous fumes caused by a fire aboard the vessel. The submarine was described as experimental and unarmed but often used in spy missions. It is unclear how many of the 25 crew survived. Local media suggest four or five are receiving treatment in Severomorsk’s military hospital for poisoning and concussion injuries. Another news account said the majority of the officers died in or on their way to hospital. These reports do not cite the cause of the fire.

From RT:

https://www.rt.com/russia/463228-7-captains-2-heroes-killed-fire/:
On Monday, a Russian Navy’s deep sea research vessel caught fire during a planned operation aimed at exploring the seabed in the Russian territorial waters.

The Russian Investigative Committee launched an investigation into the incident. The Russian Navy also initiated its own probe led by the Navy head, Nikolay Evmenov. The cause of the fire remains unknown so far.

Meanwhile, the director of the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority, Per Strand, told Reuters citing unnamed Russian officials that the fire on board of the Russian vessel was allegedly caused by a gas explosion. He added that his agency did not detect any abnormal levels of radiation following the incident.

The Russian Defense Ministry promptly dismissed the report by Reuters as it said that it did not inform any Norwegian officials about the incident.

DJ-It looks like at least one serious incident took place. Most likely between US and Russian subs.

Israel may plan to attack Iran targets in Iraq. With the excuse of "Iran working on a nuclear weapon". Yesterday Hal Turner claimed "possibly an F35 was shot down, crashed in North-Turkish held-Cyprus. The official story is that it was an S200 air-defense missile.

When F35's can be shot down with S200/S300 missiles "the west" has basicly no "air superiority" left in the Middle East. This could trigger a lower treshold for the use of nuclear weapons.

https://www.defconwarningsystem.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13371&sid=429258c84fcbc237123ceb44a6823f27

DJ-I hope the quake in Iran was natural. It was an accident that did damage to a Russian sub. The crash in Cyprus was NOT a F35. In any other scenario the world is moving into a minefield.

DJ-The picture I am getting is 1-Israel will take more action against Iran. Both in Syria, Iraq and most likely (by special operations, cyber attack etc) Iran. Israel does expect the US and Gulf States to give support. https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/07/no-iran-is-not-rushing-to-build-a-nuclear-weapon.html

2-There may have been an incident between US and Russian subs in the Alaska/Russia border zone. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bering_Strait=82km/51 miles wide narrowist point) https://thebulletin.org/2019/06/hooray-the-arctic-is-melting-say-what/?utm_source=Newsletter%20070119&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=ArcticSayWHAT_06252019 (A cold-cold war for the Arctic ?)

DJ-The US is fighting to keep "the only superpower" position against Russia and China. Iran is strategic for North-South links-Russia, East West "Silk Road" China. India does see Iran as a link to the EarAsian market.

Russia and China will NOT allow any (major) US/proxy attack on Iran.

https://www.facebook.com/pepe.escobar.77377 DJ-It is-for now-unclear for the public what happened, is happening. Problem with that is things move at hyperspeed. One moment "life is normal", next moment may see no internet, electricity-within hours total collapse and chaos-even without nearby military action and around the globe.

Putting out satellites, cyberwarfare, attacks on the electricity, basic infrastructure can "destroy us all". Hope we do not end up in that kind of scenario's-we are way to close to them.

DJ-There seems to be a constant push for war with Iran. But so far no one is willing to start such a war out of fear for the consequences. (DJ-Again both Russia and China will not accept military action against Iran-see it as an attack on their region, EurAsia-integration plans.)

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-07-03/trump-says-us-should-join-great-currency-manipulation-game-devaluing-dollar
DJ-Due to US sanctions against over half the world the market for the US dollar is shrinking. Maybe Trump should stop his sanctions ?

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-07-03/us-versus-china-tariff-war-economic-war

DJ-The risk for "war by accident" is unacceptable high. From the Arctic to the South China Sea, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya one "small incident" could escalate out of control. The US is "defending" the only-superpower-status in a military way-and getting to much overstretched while Russia, Iran, China win via diplomacy (and due to US "sanctions on the world").

Good article:https://www.asiatimes.com/2019/07/article/the-un-submersible-us-iran-stalemate/:
Submersible incident
The submersible incident – complete with the speculative plot line of a US-Russia firefight in the Arctic – did drown, at least for a while, the prime, current geopolitical incandescence: the US economic war on Iran.

Expanding on serious discussions at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek – which included Iran’s President Rouhani – and the Putin-Xi meetings in Moscow and St. Petersburg and at the G20 in Osaka, both Russia and China are fully invested in keeping Iran stable and protected from the Trump administration’s strategy of chaos.

Both Moscow and Beijing are fully aware Washington’s divide-and-rule tactics are geared towards stopping the momentum of Eurasia integration – which includes everything from bilateral trade in local currencies and bypassing the US dollar to further interconnection of the New Silk Roads, or Belt and Road Initiative, the Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU) and the International North-South Transportation Corridor (INSTC).

Beijing plays a shadow game, keeping very quiet on the de facto US economic blockade against one of its key Belt and Road allies. Yet the fact is China continues to buy Iranian crude, and bilateral trade is being settled in yuan and rial.

The Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX), the mechanism set up by the EU-3 (France, UK and Germany) to bypass the US dollar for trade between Iran and the EU after the US unilaterally abandoned the nuclear deal, or JCPOA, may finally be in place. But there’s no evidence INSTEX will be adopted by myriad European companies, as it essentially covers Iranian purchases of food and medicine.

Plan B would be for the Russian Central Bank to extend access to Iran as one the nations possibly adopting SPFS (System for Transfer of Financial Messages), the Russian mechanism for trade sanctioned by the US that bypasses SWIFT. Moscow has been working on the SPFS since 2104, when the threat to expel Russia from SWIFT became a distinct possibility.

As for Iran being accused – by the US – of “breaching” the JCPOA, that’s absolute nonsense. To start with, Tehran cannot possibly “breach” a multinational deal that was declared null and void by one of the signatories, the US.

In fact the alleged “breach” is due to the fact the EU-3 were not buying Iran’s low-enriched uranium, as promised, because of the US embargo. Washington has de facto forced the EU-3 not to buy it. Tehran duly notified all JCPOA parties that, as they are not buying it, Iran will have to store more low enriched uranium than the JCPOA allows for. If the EU-3 resumes buying it that automatically means Iran is not “breaching” anything.

DJ-The US plan to break Iran by economic sanctions is not working. China, Russia, India (a.o.) do not want unrest in Iran. The only other remaining (US) option against Iran might be the military (since the US do not want serious talks with Iran).

We may get nearer to thise point-sadly.

From https://www.facebook.com/pepe.escobar.77377:
SHADOWPLAY UPDATE

One of my top intel sources wrote me that around a month ago he was told by Iranian intel that they were not being helped by ANYONE.

This only confirms what I have been stressing in my writings; the game-changer was that fateful Putin-Xi-Modi-Rouhani meeting in Bishkek, and what Putin and Xi have been discussing afterwards.

My source also told me he was talking to the Chinese today; "I am advising all sides" - meaning Russia, China and Iran.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-07-04/syria-and-iran-defy-sanctions-building-railway-tehran-mediterranean

DJ-Again-Iran is part of a much bigger plan. Ear-Asian integration, trade outside US$ control, major weapondeals-all without any role for (at least) the US.

https://www.debka.com/__trashed-6-copy/High alert in US, British Navies after UK marines seize Iranian oil tanker.
https://www.debka.com/mivzak/un-nuclear-watchdog-meeting-on-iran-called-by-us-russia-mocks/
(DJ-The US/Israel goal is to make Iran oil export to the EU-by ship impossible. The US and Israel would like to claim Iran is breaking the Iran-deal so the EU would have to move towards the US/Israel side-get out of the Iran-deal. In fact if Iran is still acting in the Iran-deal or not is beside the point. The US left the Iran-deal, put sanctions and made the Iran-deal impossible. The EU has to make up its mind on how to do "international trade" -with both Iran, Russia, China AND the US/UK (under boris-sociopath-johnson). The US effort of "forcing" the EU to stick on sanctions against Iran, Russia, China is "eroding". The EU may find a way-via a.o. Turkey-to do indirect bussiness. When the US is putting to much sanctions on the EU-in a new round of trade wars-most likely the EU may move away from the US even further.)https://southfront.org/syrian-war-report-july-5-2019-british-marines-seized-iranian-oil-tanker/

DJ-The more time passes-the more Iran becomes integrated into Ear-Asia defense plans. The less likely any (US, Israeli a.o.) attack can make much difference.

Iran oil-trade-partly-will go "underground" and reach the international oil market as Iraq, Russian, Syrian oil. When Russia, India, China, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria all do all kind of deals with Iran US sanctions-in the long run-damage the US.

(DJ-The EU bocot of Russia with fruits meant Russia started growing those fruits themselves, imported them from (a.o.) Turkey (and now most likely also Iran can export to Russia, China). The fruit-export of the EU was damaged-"we" lost a major market-export from EU to China grew not enough to compensate for losing the Russian market.

India is a major medical supplier-"goods for oil" may see Iran exchanging oil for India medical goods.

Turkey and Russia working on the (new) S500, possibly Russian S400 to Iran is a nightmare for the west. When Turkey, Qatar close US bases in their country the US has to fall back on Saudi, Israel bases. )

DJ-Some background;

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-07-06/trumps-relationship-russia-china-revival-henry-wallace-doctrine DJ-FDR during World War 2 was hoping for peacefull cooperation between the US-Russia (Soviet Union) and China after the war.

https://sputniknews.com/us/201907071076172107-tulsi-gabbard-warns-conflict-iran-potentially-far-more-devastating-than-iraq-war/

Middle East;

DJ-Turkey has its own agenda, going for its own goals and has room to do so due to the western war against Syria. Turkey is fighting with Iran against the Kurds-all three nations are non-Arab. The Arab-nations fear growing Turkish influence-may see that as a larger risk than Iran influence. (At least Iran has oil-Turkey may come for oil).
Turkey and Saudi Arabia also have a religious conflict-with Turkey claiming S.A. is not doing enough to protect the holy islamic places.

Saudi Arabia itself is sinking deeper in the mud they created in Yemen. Depending on foreign military (South American mercenaries, former Blackwater PMC's, Pakistan, Sudan forces) the KSA fails to get control over Yemen. Blaming Iran for that is not a solution.

The UAE is pulling out of the conflict, just like many foreign armies. Oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia is now less protected while Yemen has better (long range) weapons.

Both Turkey and Yemen will further escalate conflicts for their own goals. Both Russia and the "west" are limited in what they can do on that. Further escalating tensions with Iran is creating more room for other conflicts in the region.

With other conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine (but also Mali, Algeria etc) starting a war against Iran could make the West Asia-North Africa region "explode".

Turkey has limited means to get much control over such a situation, the US wants chaos-is unable to create order. A wider conflict would be an open door for Russia and China.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

DJ-Some of the headlines;

https://www.rt.com/news/463714-russia-india-submarine-su57-deals/

Again-the US know they can not win an open war with Russia-Iran-China (R-I-C). So the US via tarifs, sanctions, proxies is fighting "R-I-C" in covert wars with frontlines from Libya, Venezuela, Yemen, Syria, Ukraïne, Kashmir, Baluchistan, Afghanistan, South China Sea/Hong Kong.

From time to time the "covert" war gets close to "open" war. Sooner or later things get out of control and we end up in a major conflict.

(DJ-The US (and the EU, Russia, China etc.) should deal more with the growing food crisis in the US and the effect that will have on the globe. The US is the main agriculture exporter (Dutch are second). Due to flooding in the US, climate collapse around the globe, the number of refugees may explode !

We did see temperatures in France one would expect in Saudi Arabia. An extreme heatwave could make hundreds of millions of people move. A border wall is not the answer-trying to slow down climate change, diseases (ebola is just one of many) etc may be a batter answer.)

There is a strugle for the EU-the US wants the EU to give up on the Iran deal (wich Trump did not want since it was an Obama-succes.) Russia and China want the EU to stick to the Iran deal.

Any major US action against Iran is unacceptable for Russia and China. "RIC" want to avoid world war 3 at almost all cost. On the other hand they are willing to send "a very strong signal" when the US crosses a red line.

DJ-Iran shot down US drone over Iran water, US tells UK to take Iran tanker in Gibraltar, Iran now takes UK tanker.

https://ejmagnier.com/2019/07/20/khameneis-three-commandments-for-the-iranians-the-middle-east-is-heading-towards-maximum-danger/?fbclid=IwAR16nJUJFhGDL-QM36sU8-N0G8-a1eSFjDY2jJXqn7Dyzds2YZFu1QkQaus:

The Middle East is heading for “maximum danger” following the “maximum pressure” imposed on Iran by US President Donald Trump who, unilaterally and unlawfully, withdrew over a year ago from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), known as the nuclear agreement, and imposed harsh sanctions on Iran that Tehran considers a declaration of economic war. Trump’s move against Iran has provoked a gathering storm of tanker wars, the mutual detention of tankers by Iran and Britain. Indeed, the US administration has been pushing London to confront Iran starting from the capture of an Iranian super tanker (Grace 1) at Gibraltar on July 4, which has now triggered an Iranian tit-for-tat reaction (capturing a British tanker in the Straits of Hormuz). While the US and the UK are walking, along with Iran, on the edge of the abyss, the Iranian supreme leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has publicly proclaimed “three points of guidance” for officials in the country, which includes a road map to follow even in his own absence.

Iran has detained a British oil tanker “Stena Impero” hours after the British High Court of Gibraltar announced the extension of an additional month of the arrest of Iranian tanker “Grace 1”, carrying two million barrels of oil. When this news reached the Iranian leadership, they realised that mediation efforts by French President Emmanuel Macron had stumbled and that it was time for Iran to take the matter in hand.

-

It is not unlikely that Tehran will set up ballistic missiles at close range to the enemies or countries that could be targeted by these missiles. Its allies will defend Iran at a moment’s notice.

The situation today is as follow: Iran has detained the British tanker “Stena Impero” along with its 23 crew members in Bandar Abbas pending the release of its carrier Grace 1. The US Central Command has announced that it is working with its allies to securefreedom of movement. Iran has threatened to not allow any oil exports from the Persian Gulf region if it cannot export its own oil. Tehran downed an American drone. Trump himself announced the shooting down of an unmanned Iranian drone –a claim Iran denies– thus placing himself on the same level as the Iranian IRGC- which Trump calls a terrorist group!

The US is sending new troops to Saudi Arabia, and Britain has sent additional war vessels in the Persian Gulf. All this deployment in a small area in the Middle East, a narrow strait that can hardly accommodate all these events. The region is heading towards maximum danger where all countries and allies are putting their hands on the trigger instead of going to the negotiating table and respecting the agreements signed. And what comes next may be even worse.

US plans to blockade Venezuela, further Iran gulf actions, the US selling weapons to Taiwan destabilize the global situation further.

As a reminder China is the third party involved in the Kashmir crisis, there is a border dispute between India and China in that area as well. If a war breaks out Pakistan AND China will confront India (and the US ?).

The US is behind https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/pakistan-prime-minister-is-the-world-prepared-for-a-nuclear-war supporting tensions between SCO members India and Pakistan to stop China (and Iran).

https://www.asiatimes.com/2019/08/opinion/india-or-pakistan-kashmir-a-test-for-gulf-diplomacy/

DJ-Both India and Pakistan know they can not start a major war. Both face climate change major problems. Saudi Arabia is believed to be financing wahabist extremists-most likely in cooperation with the CIA-one may see an increase of IS activities in the region.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-07/trumps-blockade-begins-venezuela-says-food-shipment-blocked-panama-canal China is the main investor in Venezuelan oil.

DJ-The Russia-Iran-China coalition is getting stronger now Russia is alowed to use Iran ports. China-Pakistan cooperation-and Russian influence-may force India to "make Kashmir a place for (Chinese, Russian) investments. (The US is not in a position to stop the New Silk Road).

With Turkey and Iran as expected new SCO members https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_states_of_the_Shanghai_Cooperation_Organisation and the SCO also looking for "military cooperation to make bussiness possible" the SCO is becoming a "shared market"from the Russian-Norway border to Syria, China-NK border.

I (DJ) would not be surprised when Latin American countries also would show interest in membership of the SCO. Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Venezuela (later on Argentina, Brazil, smaller states) could make the SCO the "New World Order".

The EU has to deal with the SCO. The SCO https://ico.newsbtc.com/ico/sco-coin/ uses a digital currency based on a mix of SCO member currencies so no country can dictate the value.

http://eng.sectsco.org/

DJ-"The west(ern pseudo media)" does not realise how fast things are changing. The US policy of confrontation and trade wars, sanction, is a main factor-pushing most other countries out of the US trade relations.

Since Trump did not start "a new cold war" a new US president after Trump will not make the difference for most countries.
Asia has 4 billion people living in it, working with the EU, Africa and Latin America will be the end of the US-age.

DJ-The US is putting sanctions on Iran because the US does not continu the Iran-deal, than puts sanctions on countries that buy oil from Iran. Among these countries are EU/NATO members.

The Kashmir-crisis has US fingerprints. Kashmir borders China. China does not want IS/alquada/cia terrorists in its "backyard" to disrupt the New Silk Road. But also India and Pakistan are not waiting for another permanent crisis like the Afghan-never ending-war. (Started by the US in the 70's to give the Soviet Union their "own Viet Nam", although Afghanistan is not a real country-it houses several tribes-wich goes for many countries. The natural-mountain-area-made "nation building" hard. Both Russia and British India tried to get Afghanistan under control in the 19th century-both failed.)

DJ-Some comments claim Hong Kong-ers realised only now what the 1997 transfer from the UK to PRC means. In one comment Shang Hai is supposed to become "a new (Chinese) Hong Kong".

Most likely "foreign agents" tried to influence protests (just like the uprising in Syria etc-in the beginning was real.) Hijacking demonstrations for other goals to start "revolutions" do most of the time end up in chaos.

DJ-There is some discussion on the Russia-Iran relationship. https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/08/no-there-will-be-no-russian-base-in-iran.html (the comments give nuances-one may ask who has power in Iran. The revolutionary guards are working with the Russians in Syria. Iran may like to be independent and Islamic. The best way to stay that way may to work with "several partners"; Russia, China (New Silk Road), Turkey (oil and Kurdshttps://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/08/13/603412/Iran-Turkey-train-travel-tourism-Erdogan-Rouhani) Pakistan.

The Russian orthodox church is a major factor in Russia-feels related to Syrian orthodox church wich was attacked by (western supported) Islamic Sunni radicals. On religious matters Russia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan may not be in conflict. It is bizar the US/NATO is supporting wahabist anti-western terrorists.)

DJ-The US pushed for Russia-Iran-China (RIC) cooperation. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-12/escobar-how-tehran-fits-russia-china-strategy

DJ-Agression would be the only correct word for US foreign policy against RIC. Since the US is also sanctioning or fighting Venezuela, Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan (Iran and Turkey = 80 milion people each, Pakistan =205 milion people-"TIP" has more inhabitants than the US !) the RIC coalition is getting stronger.

DJ-Two long read's on https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-20/chinas-ultimate-play-global-oil-market-control the way Iran-China and Russia more or less take over the Middle East. The US has a major base in Qatar-but even Qatar is not following US instructions.
China is importing Iran oil via both Pakistan-pipelines and (Chinese)tankers-and is willing to protect those lines of transport.

DJ-The US is-partly-financing (a.o.) the Falun Gong cult. (The US is also involved-via Qatar-with Uyghur and Caucasus jihadi's).

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-21/endgame-near-syrian-army-liberates-khan-sheikhoun-site-claimed-sarin-attack
DJ-Under the Astana deal Turkey would take over control of jihadi's in Idlib/N.W. Syria. Turkey failed to do so-so the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Russia, Iran now deal with the jihadi-terrorists (backed by the west and Gulf States.) In that area there are also some pro-Turkish groups-backed by Turkey. DJ-This conflict will not end in a war between Turkey and Syria. Erdogan needs support from "R-I-C" (Russia, Iran, China).

DJ-The US is believed to have talks with the Taliban, Iran, Venezuela (etc. North Korea) to keep some influence.

DJ-Trump's stupidity is the major risk at the moment;

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/trump-deploys-a-new-label-for-china-s-xi-enemy and https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/president-trump-orders-all-u-s-companies-out-of-china
Hal Turner's view may reflect the stupidity of Trump:
HAL TURNER COMMENTARY

This is going to be VERY good for those of us in the USA.   Companies will be scrambling to obtain manufacturing facilities here in the U.S. which means more US jobs and a return of the middle class.

It also means log term better results for American companies, who no longer have to give away Trade Secrets to China, only to have China leak those secrets to its own industries, then sell the same products cheaper, driving the US companies out of business. It's easy for China to have profitable companies when they get their products by stealing what American firms paid to develop.

The people who lined their pockets by shipping US jobs overseas are not going to be happy about this; expect to see flailing and hear gnashing of teeth as their greed gets reigned-in.

DJ-Why is this stupid ? Eur-Asia is a market of 4,5 billion people, the US is a market-in debt-of 330 million people. The US did start several wars the are not able to win.
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-22/us-drown-world-oil oil production by fracking causes earthquakes, global warming and only makes a profit when the price is high. The US main ally is Saudi Arabia-also "adicted" to oil incomes.

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/08/us-says-israel-bombed-iraq.html DJ-To avoid direct attacks in Iraq the US now is claiming Israel was behind recent attacks in Iraq (using US weapons and info).

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-23/heres-what-expect-weekends-nightmare-g-7-summit The G7 has to "tolerate" Trump.

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-23/greenland-last-chance-make-america-great-again The way Trump did deal with his (understandable) interest in Greenland is shocking.

DJ-The total lack of diplomacy, will to compromize, walking away from the Iran-deal, Paris-agreement, is damaging the US.

Trump’s tariffs, or a large part of them, fall on US corporations or US consumers.

DJ-"The world" is not waiting for more wars to make a few very rich. The US goal to "stay #1" even when it puts the world in a major crisis is damaging the US.

DJ-Hal Turner is again claiming "world war 3" is coming. He even claims the EU and US would fight with Israel (Germany would stay neutral-HT seems to forget Germany = EU).

In my opinion Russia will offer protection to Iraq and Lebanon. Iran may be willing to sell their improved S300 missiles. It is bizarre western media, politics, think these kind of Israeli (with US backing) attacks in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq are "normal".

"The west" may call a reaction "agression", just like Yemen attacks in Saudi Arabia do get mentioned in western press, Saudi (backed by US, UK etc) genocide in Yemen is "no news".

Israeli claims that Iran was preparing attacks on Israel (while fighting in Syria, Iraq) are non sense. https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/sdf-calls-on-syrian-government-to-negotiate-with-them/ More likely the Kurds facing US-Turkish cooperation in NE Syria https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/08/turkey-centre-syria-safe-zone-fully-operational-190824182223857.html may start to feel betrayed by the US. (And fear the Turkish "safe zone" could be the beginning of further Turkish actions against Kurds in Syria.)

One of many reasons why the Kurds do not have Kurdistan (main reason=oil) is disagreement between (many) Kurdish groups. Syria was willing to stop Turkey in Afrin when Kurdish fighters were willing to accept the Assad government.

Kurds can not trust foreign powers, have to make their own realistic plans. The longer they wait the more likely Turkey and Iran may find agreement with Assad against the Kurds.

On the background Israeli attacks on Iran targets have to do with the US-China conflict. China keeps buying Iranian oil. (The G7 meeting=G6+US at the same moment is not a coincidence. Macron inviting Iran FM for talks https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/08/25/604455/Irans-foreign-minister-G7 may have shocked Trump into reality. )

Echoing a little Dr. Strangelove, Esper stated that there is “a coming shift” from “low intensity conflict that lasts 18 years to high intensity conflicts against competitors such as Russia and China.”

DJ-Iran, Venezuela, Russia are main oil suppliers to China. The US is losing Asia (with 4 billion consumers).

When one looks at history the dominant nation in the world is losing that position via (global) war. The Spanish did lose their position in (a.o) the 80 year war with the Netherlands-wich for a short term become dominant. (With in the 17th century colonies from New Holland (now both state of New York and Australia) Brazil (Recife), the basics of the Dutch East Indies, several Carabiën Islands)

"We" (the Dutch) did lose that position (in several steps) (a.o.) due to Napoleon. The British became dominant in the 19th century. They lost that position to the US after two world wars.

One could argue that-in the backgroud-the power is in companies, ownership. In that view "the West"has been dominant all over "western history". (From the Roman Empire, Francia etc, only to be challenged by the Mongols, Muslims-but they were both stopped before they could take over (Western) Europe.

The idea of China becoming the new major power is a shock for such a western perspective. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)is an instrument for-mainly-this China plan. With the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank as a way to start building a New Silk Road).

Russia is another "starter" of the SCO for their economic reasons-but the SCO is now moving to protect their trade in a military way.
India and Pakistan are already members of the SCO, others Iran, Turkey will soon join the SCO.

After the end of the Soviet Union in 1990 Russia under Gorbachov was willing to think of becoming a NATO-member, Turkey did want to join the EU. At the end "the west"managed to insult Russia, Turkey-like the way the west insulted Iran by supporting-up till 1979-Sjah-dictatorship.

The EU is in between hanging on to "western domination" under "US protection" (via the NATO US weapons sales organization). The other choice is EurAsian integration.

On that frontline discussions on how to deal with the Iran-deal, Brexit fall into place. The UK may choose to follow the US. The EU needs Russian gas, Iran oil, the Asia market. (Wich it can reach via pipelines (rail)roads, shipping-the US market is only by ship/plane).

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-09-06/us-army-major-ret-we-are-living-wreckage-war-terror Is not only a description of the NATO-war in Afghanistan, also Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen etc. Realisticly war is not an option.

Still US politics may cause another-final-World War. Israel-Netanyahu-election campain needs a crisis. The Saudi royal family owning Saud Arabia only can stay in power by a crisis.

The US is becoming a "new Sparta" with military securing US interests around the globe.

Another offensive in Syria may see direct confrontation between US and Russian/Iran forces. China may act after a further US provocation in Hong Kong, South China Sea.

The time to "wait for another US president" may not be good enough to avoid further-serious-escalation. (One US goal is to stop the EU from going for EurAsian integration with US-German pipelines etc.)

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/09/attacks-on-major-saudi-oil-installations-show-urgent-need-for-peace-with-yemen.html

DJ-There were TWO attacks on major Saudi oil installations-effecting a 5% reduction in global oil production.

Some remarks;

-Saudi Arabia needs higher oil prices to keep the (a.o.) Yemen war(s) going.
-The attacks-most likely houthi's/Yemen related may (partly) have started from inside Saudi Arabia.
-Saudi Arabia is not only in conflict with Yemen but also (a.o.) Qatar, U.A.E. https://southfront.org/new-arabian-peninsulas-cold-war-is-coming/ and-de facto Syria, Iraq, Turkey.
-There are some reports that cruise missiles came from Iraq. Most of the attack came by drones.https://southfront.org/photos-show-houthis-used-cruise-missile-in-their-attack-on-saudi-oil-facilities/
-DJ-A strategic goal for this attack could be to stop, unable Saudi continuation of the (Yemen) war.

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/pompeo-attack-against-saudi-refinery-came-from-iran
(DJ-Radar would provide proof for such a claim-most likely the US can not give (real) radar images as proof. It would be very unlikely that allthough near such an attack would come from inside Iran. Also direct aid for such an attack from Iran would be "sensitive"-still for the US there seems to be no need of proof.)

DJ-Tuesday will bring elections in Israel. Netanyahu "needs to show strength and resolve" so most likely there will be Israeli anti-Iran action before sept 17. Since Russia is not giving Israel room above Syria (and controls the airspace above Lebanon, Iraq) a US-Saudi-Israel (USI) reaction may come via Saudi Arabia (or Azerbedjan, cruise misseles )

China and Russia will defend Iran. https://theduran.com/china-and-iran-form-strategic-partnership-with-400-billion-energy-deal-video/

Trump is sinking deeper and deeper in the Middle East mud. If he wants to get reelected he needs to pull out now. https://theduran.com/with-bolton-out-will-trump-rethink-americas-foreign-policy-dogma-video/

DJ-From the MoA comments-one may not be surprised when the Saudi attack is a false flag. A welcome excuse for war-Israel wants, higher oil prices Saudi needs.

From the Duran;
According to the individuals cited by Bloomberg, the White House has begun preparations for Trump to meet Rouhani on the sidelines of the annual United Nations General Assembly during the week of September 23 in New York.
DJ-There are "groups" sabotaging any steps to peace Trump needs to take. Those "groups" are "democrats" and some "old school-anti Trump-republicans" in the US and some (pro) Israel, MIC, groups.

DJ-Once the US starts direct military action against Iran the US is sinking even deeper in problems with not only Russia and China but also Turkey, Pakistan. The EU is not waiting for further crises and may even move further towards EurAsia integration.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

DJ-Why should the US move out of the Middle East ?

The US got involved in a Syria (drought related/Arab Spring) uprising to get regime change. Assad was not willing to cooperate with a Qatar-Turkey-EU oil/gas transportroute the US wanted to keep the EU from buying Russian energy.

We are now 8 years further-that goal totally failed. Also US regimechange in Libya-with the goal to prevent Gadaffi introducing a pan-African currency (golden dinar) for energydeals-in competition with the US petro$ failed to get the US goal.

Due to the conflicts in Libya, Syria, Yemen (Afghanistan, Pakistan etc) other underlying conflicts came to the surface.

-The older Sunni-Shia conflict became more violent.
There is a Shia minority in Saudi Arabia NE (close to Iraq) that now may be getting more agressive against the Saudi "royal"family claiming to own the country. (The recent attacks against Saudi oil installations may have come from the Iraq/Saudi border area). Iran=Shia, KSA=Sunni

-Within the Sunni several new conflicts do show up.

Turkey-KSA on who is ruling the Islamic world, also the Turks are in conflict with the Kurds. KSA/USA is supporting those Kurdish groups, Turkey and Iran are fighting them.

KSA did intervene in Bahrain to keep the Sunni elite in power that is ruling over a Shia majority.

KSA did manage to get in conflict with Qatar, U.A.E Qatar now joining Iran in a border gasfield exploration.

Also the Yemen-war, with once Sudanese and Pakistani military fighting on the side of KSA is turning into a disaster for KSA (and the west supporting the KSA).

In the mean time China is the major energy importer in the world. The US became the largest oil producer (with Russia and KSA competing for #2).

Both KSA, Iran want to deal with China. (China is also investing in Venezuela oil industry-also under attack by the US).

Even Israel-that claims to have good relations with Russia (Putin and Netanyahu have more contact than Netanyahu has with Trump)-wants a share of the New Silk Road-trade between the EU and China.

When Iran wants to be part of the New Silk Road it can not move towards a military conflict with Israel or KSA openly.

Netanyahu convinced Putin to keep Iran 80 miles from Israeli borders-most likely diplomacy did bring more succes for Israel (talking with Putin) than military action did.

The US has forces in the North and South of Syria. With Turkey the US is now working for a security zone south of the Turkish border inside Syria. Erdogan wants to use that safe-zone to return (over 2 milion) Syrian refugees in Turkey.
The Kurds are not very happy with that-and are working more closer (including oil deals) with the Assad government. For the Kurds Russia may be providing protection against Turkey, Iran, Assad. A protection the US can not longer provide.

Israel and Saudi Arabia know they can not win a war with Iran on their own power. They do want the US to do that job for them. (So Israel can move towards a greater Israel, annexation of Golan Heights, parts of West Bank-maybe even other wars with Lebanon/Gaza. Saudi Arabia can regain the leading position in both religion and oil/gas.)

Realisticly-a US war with Iran would damage the US;

-It would turn out a much more expensive war than any other endless war the US did get involved in.
-The chances of that war turning into a nuclear conflict (Trump claims the US could "win" such a conflict) are very serious.
-The US may loose support from NATO members, the EU, even a lot of Arab/Muslim states. (Indonesia is more and more moving away from the US).
-Russia and China will support Iran. They may try to avoid open war between Russia/China and the US but organizations like the SCO may turn into a military pact faster (with even India, Pakistan-SCO members-turning against the US).

DJ-In my opinion it would be wise when Trump started to look for dialogue not confrontation. Russia managed to get involved in conflicts but still to be diplomatic above conflict. The US is party in a conflict and "out of communication" with to many enemies, in wars that never seem to end.

The US moving further into Middle East conflicts (to stop China) is moving the US against self-interest and-in the longer term will destroy the US.
A diplomatic offensive-Trump talking with major leaders around the globe-may be the wiser choice.

DJ-President Trump has a choice between yet another major war or de-escalation. In my opinion de-escalation would show responsibility.
The attack on the Saudi oil installation may have been an (Israeli /US ?) false flag. Aramco may sell shares to China-bringing Saudi oil industry in Chinese hands.

DJ-I do not believe Iran was involved in any attack on Saudi oil installations. Iran needs good relations both with Russia and China-and both countries are also involved in investments in Saudi Arabia.

https://www.scmp.com/business/banking-finance/article/2115709/china-offers-buy-5-cent-aramco-directly-giving-it and https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/16/new-security-fears-jeopardize-saudi-aramcos-public-stock-offering.html

China would like to get more control over Saudi energy-an Iran attack would frustrate China's interest.

Saudi Arabia is spending billions per month on the Yemen war-Saudi needs a "better price" for oil and gas. Both KSA and Israel fear Iran but know they can not win from Iran in a war without US/NATO support.

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/17/saudi-arabia-has-to-explain-how-its-oil-assets-in-abqaiq-were-attacked-says-ex-us-diplomat.html After the US and China Saudi is spending the most on weapons. How was it possible that the saterday attack could take place ????

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/09/damage-at-saudi-oil-plant-points-to-well-targeted-swarm-attack.html;
The hits were extremely precise. The Yemeni armed forces claimed it attacked the facility with 10 drones (or cruise missiles). But the hits on these targets look like neither. A total of 17 hits with such precise targeting lets me assume that these were some kind of drones or missiles with man-in-the-loop control. They may have been launched from within Saudi Arabia.

https://theduran.com/war-with-iran-only-likely-in-2nd-presidential-term/;
The drone attacks on the Aramco oil refinery at Abqaiq and Khurais oil field is – in my opinion – one of the best carried out operations in decades. It’s so open to interpretation, and it serves the hegemon’s narrative so well. If the Houthis have such tactical and strategic capabilities, why didn’t they deploy them sooner against Saudi Arabia? Something must have changed. They must have received better equipment, training or specialists, plus intel. Or maybe the Saudis deliberately let their guard down? The whole thing doesn’t smell right. If it was indeed carried out by Iran via proxy, then it’s a hands down master stroke; the message being: that’s how strong we are, and we can inflict a lot worse if you invade us.

Putting that question aside, war with Iran, even if it would appease the Zionists and the Saud crime family, it would kill Trump’s chances of reelection. He can’t win simply with the hardcore republicans, he needs the moderate vote too. And even his loyalists, some of them at least, are deploring his hawkish policy toward Iran – because he vowed to keep the country out of another Middle Eastern quagmire.

Israeli propaganda claims; https://www.debka.com/exclusive-iran-shot-missiles-from-khuzestan-drones-from-w-iraq-at-saudi-oil-facilities/ fit in with an "anti-Trump" campain.

https://www.rt.com/op-ed/468935-saudi-oil-field-drone-attack/
KSA has US weapons-do they do their job ? https://www.rt.com/news/468948-putin-saudi-arabia-missiles/;Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested Saudi Arabia should buy Russian air defense systems to protect its oil facilities from drone attacks, pointing to Iran and Turkey, who operate S-300 and S-400 missiles, respectively.

https://www.rt.com/business/468985-oil-surge-100-saudi-attacks/
A US attack on Iran would "crash" the global economy.

https://www.defconwarningsystem.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13544&start=60 Eventhough there is talk of US military action against Iran for the false flag/Yemen attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure-I (DJ)-do not see a major US action against Iran as very likely.

Not only one could question wether Iran was involved in this attack (maybe even the U.A.E.-now also in conflict with KSA played a role-by giving Yemen info), Russia and China will make very clear they will do all they can to "limit damage" from any US actions.

China, India, but also Turkey, Pakistan a.o. most likely even the EU "will not welcome further US actions" as a result from Trump breaking the Iran-deal (mostly because Obama made that deal).

In my opinion it would be wise when Trump went on a diplomatic offensive. For now-if you want peace in any region you go to Russia for diplomacy, China for investment-if you want war you go to the US.

DJ-While the "western embedded media" keep spreading propaganda more and more indications show up that the attack on Saudi oil installations did NOT come from Iran.

-The US-made defenses of KSA are facing (with a 120 degree-not 360 degree radar) the Iran coast and would pick up the weapons coming from Iran. The US radar did thus miss the 240 degree radar did not cover when the drones etc. came from the west.

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/09/how-russian-and-iran-beat-their-opponents-strategies.html

As https://southfront.org/gulf-war-report-u-s-saudi-sources-claim-attack-on-saudi-oil-was-launched-from-iran/ makes clear Saudi managed to also get in conflict with not only Iran and Yemen but also Qatar and U.A.E. (and the shia-minority in NE KSA).

With that limited "proof" claiming Iran "did it" is insane.

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/syrian-army-liwaa-al-quds-send-reinforcements-to-sdf-front-lines-in-deir-ezzor/ US forces in South Syria have gotten into conflict with Iraqi-militia (in a Kurdish held area) so now the Syrian Army is moving in to "limit the damage".

At the same time https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/erdogan-proposes-creation-of-refugee-city-at-syria-peace-talks/ Turkey want to put Syrian refugees in-until recent-Kurdish held area's. Turkey and the US are creating a safe zone-in the same time Turkey and Iran are working on anti-Kurdish plans. (With Russia trying to provide some safety for the Kurds-and the Kurds not willing to compromise with the Assad government for now.)

DJ-Yemen has warned there will be more attacks on Saudi oil installations. A US/western attack on Iran will crash the global economy. Even when Russia and China stay out of the fighting the time for diplomacy is gone. We may find ourself in a "colder war" than we can imagine.

DJ-Eventhough there is no real proof Iran was behind the attack on Saudi oil installations, there is no international support for a war against Iran, still the US seems to be moving towards such an insane war.

When you look at the Afghan-war since 2001, Iraq-war 2003, Syria-war 2011, Libya-war, Yemen-war what does Trump expect ?

The EU, Merkel does want the US to again join the Iran-deal, Macron wants an independent investigation on the attacks. China just made a major investmentprogram with Iran-the US is attacking two main oil suppliers of China; Venezuela and now Iran-China has every reason to consider this move as an indirect decleration of war by the US against China (and will act in such a way).

What to expect when the US would be crazy enough to start a war with Iran ?

-1 The war would explode all over the Middle East. Pro-Iran groups are in Iraq, Syria, Yemen. US-goals in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan will become frontlines.
-2 Yet another attack by the US on a Muslim-country will be seen as an attack on Islam by many.
-3 In the US giving support to the main sponsor of IS, a corrupt "royal family" claiming to own all of the country and going for a major war in defense of that "royal criminal gang" will further divide the already not so United States. (If BoJo is that stupid to put the UK in such a war chaos in Brexit-UK will become even larger. The UK has to pay the EU billions for breaking up all kind of agreements-the UK will go broke.)
-4 There is no point in trying to talk with the US for Russia, China (etc) the only outcome is that the US only want their goals-no compromises.
-5 Most likely such a war would bring NATO close to its ending. Turkey is-more or less- an ally of Iran. The EU does want an Iran-deal and did not forget the US/Trump sabotaged it. Another refugee-crisis is "not welcome".
-6 The Yemen-war is already more and more fought in Saudi Arabia, Yemen forces will keep attacking Saudi oil installations. The Gulf-region, more likely a wider region-will stop exporting oil/gas. Bringing the global economy in a major crisis.
-7 Most likely Saudi Arabia will become the main battle field-not Iran.
-8 Israel most likely will not stay out of the chaos. A "limited war" may be the best they can hope for-when Israel attacks Iran there are that many weapons Israel may "come to an end".
-9 Already cholera was a major issue in Yemen. A major war will become a very major-global-healthcrisis.
-10 Since a war with Iran will be another "never ending war" western media will get even more censored, the end of free internet etc. Increase of (false flag) terrorism etc.

Again-a US attack on Iran is an attack on China and Russia. )
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/who-really-benefits-iran-attacked-saudi-arabia-narrative:
US involvement in the Middle East thus far has led to nothing but disaster. While total financial costs are often debated, general estimates of the combined costs of US involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Pakistan are in the area of $5 trillion (a conservative estimate in my opinion). The civilian body count from the Iraq war alone stands at around 208,000 people according to Iraqbodycount.org. US, Israeli and Saudi Arabian covert agencies involved in Libya and Syria trained, funded and armed the same militants that would eventually give rise to ISIS under a program called Timber Sycamore. And, though we continually hear about Trump's intentions to pull US troops out of the region, tens of thousands of soldiers and private contractors remain in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria to this day.

No person in their right mind could claim that US foreign policy in the Middle East has been successful. In fact, the US has lost considerable face and economic stability during these conflicts, which have been perpetuated by BOTH Republican and Democratic administrations. And now, the potential for a war in Iran is rising; a war that could devastate the US economy once and for all.

DJ-Of course attacking Iran for the Houthi/Yemen attack on Saudi oil installations (a military target, Saudi-main IS sponsor-is in a genocide-war with Yemen (with US/UK a.o. help) is pretty insane.

Still a lot of US "politicians" think it is a good idea. Trump goes back to his election promise of getting the US out of never ending wars-at least by not starting another even worse war (with Iran-indirect with China wich plans to put over 5000 security personal to protect Chinese investments in Iran. China may have done something like that in Venezuela-also under US attack).

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/triumph-candidate-trumps-foreign-policy-backing-war-iran

DJ-When there is no end to those wars the next crisis is around the corner. https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/09/the-crisis-over-the-attack-on-saudi-oil-infrastructure-is-over-we-now-wait-for-the-next-one.html

https://southfront.org/u-s-deploys-advanced-electronic-warfare-plane-in-middle-east/

DJ-The only way out is in words not in bombs. The "Iran-deal" may not be Trump wanted but could be-for the moment-an opening for talks.

A lot of damage is already the result of a US foreign policy best described as "bizar". Get rid of Saudi wahabist extremists that sponsor IS terrorists that are out of CIA control. A way to do so is talks with Russia, China on these kind of wahabist countries that get in power by selling oil. "We"have to stop doing anything with "them", should not enrich our fundamental enemies.

(Moderate muslims are the majority-the west did attack them, and orthodox christians-in Iraq, Syria-stupid !)

DJ-For the moment no war between the US and Iran. But many steps are needed to de-escalate.

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2019/09/cia-celebrates-18-years-of-war-in-afghanistan.html

DJ-A major problem is the way the US thinks they can "rule the world".

https://theduran.com/tulsi-gabbard-shoots-straight-on-the-middle-east-like-a-soldier-should/ DJ-I "love" the way Tulsi Gabbard makes clear the Saudi's have to stop financing alquaida (and IS).

DJ-I do NOT agree Iran did play a (major) role in the attacks on Saudi oil installation. WHEN Iran would be behind that it would not damage it 50% but 100%. There is no proof for the Iran-claim.

Still;

https://www.rt.com/news/469277-troops-air-defenses-saudi-uae/

DJ-Further escalation is just around the corner. Even when the US returned to the Iran-deal it also needs to review its partners.
The US. NATO or Israel should not choose to do any bussiness with main supporters of wahabist extremism/terrorism. KSA and other gulf states are doing so-spreading a backward version of Islam from Nigeria to Kashmir, Jawa-Indonesia and even Europe and US.

Oil, fossil fuel, is outdated-killing us all. By giving oil the major role "we" did in the 20th century "we" gave power to people that were not ready for that.
By using wahabism-as the US did-to create chaos in Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Iran you create terrorism instead of fight it.

"The war on terror" is bringing us a totalitarian state-only in name a democracy.

-Russia and China realize IS is a US weapon against them (DJ-the nazi's were a western creation against Stalin, the Soviet Union-history based on lies and propaganda is fake-history. Divide-and-rule-strategies are very old.) Both Russia, Iran, China will not allow IS to become a major factor.
-Israel did support the Kurds and IS (etc) against Assad/Iran. Israel may not be in a position to do much. Russia is in air control over Syria. To much support from Israel (Netanyahu) may damage relations with Russia and China (Gantz could be the next Israeli PM and may not like the US-Saudi-Israel secret wars any longer).
-Saudi Arabia, Gulf States supported IS, alquaida etc. (KSA was behind 9-11-2001-the US needed Saudi oil). With the US becoming the #1 in oil production Saudi Arabia/Gulf States need better relations with both Russia and China. (Above that Saudi Arabia is as good as bankrupt by fighting expensive wars, is in conflict with several other Arab neighbours (from Syria, Iraq, Yemen to Qatar, UAE). Saudi Arabia and Turkey were allies in 2011-now they to are in conflict.

DJ-By further creating chaos, hijacking protests in Iraq, Hong Kong the US-CIA wants to put pressure on China and force Trump to keep forces in the Middle East. (Or even start a war with Iran).

The EU is not waiting for another influx of refugees. The world is not waiting for exploding energy-prices.

Support for barbarism via groups like IS (HTS etc in Idlib) is "very limted" in the M.E. area. Many people wondering why IS was so pro-Israel. Why IS was using US weapons and driving around in Japanese pick-ups, IS selling oil to western/Israeli oil companies at very low prices.

The chaos in the Middle East mirrors the chaos in the US "politics" with "democrats" fighting for corrupt scum like biden, even h.clinton thinking of entering the presidential race. Are these "democrats" willing to start world war 3 to win the US election ? (DJ-I am not a fan of Trump but the insanity of US (and UK) "politics" is shocking. Tulsi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsi_Gabbard and a few others are signs of hope in a dark desert.

DJ-Allthough there is no doubt some reality in the Russian claim of US support for IS to block the Iraq-Syria border https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/isis-carries-out-attack-against-syrian-troops-in-deir-ezzor/- I (DJ) also think https://www.debka.com/the-hidden-hand-stirring-up-unrest-in-iraq-at-cost-of-100-lives-4000-injured-sadr-at-tehrans-behest/ may be close to reality.

From the article;
This government was finally established as a weak compromise after a long stalemate following Iraq’s general election last year. It has never been stable enough to pursue a clear and consistent policy on any issue, least of all the country’s profound security and economic woes.

The protesters’ grievances are convincing. Unemployment runs at 7.9pc – up to 20pc among young men – while a quarter of the population of 40 million lives in abject poverty with an average income of $2 a day.

Their plight is all the more painful in a country that holds around a quarter of the world’s oil reserves and exports 5 million barrels day (roughly half of the Saudi output). Iraq could be one of the wealthiest countries of the Middle East if only its earnings did not vanish inside a convoluted web of corruption.

The wave of disaffection gives Iran fertile soil for its plan to dominate Baghdad; and it gained an extra fillip from the removal of a major obstacle from its path.
In the second half of September, the prime minister sparked the first demonstrations by the removal of the popular Gen. Abdul Wahhab al-Saadi as commander of the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service to a post in the defense ministry. This service is the only effective operational branch of Iraq’s armed services. The general was acclaimed as a national hero for leading the operation that routed the Islamic State and drove the jihadists from the roughly 50 percent of the country’s territory they had seized. Al-Saadi is also admired as that rare bird, an honest official. Tehran and its satellite Iraqi Shiite militias found in the popular general a major impediment to their plans to gain control of Baghdad and the national army.
-
DEBKAfile’s sources recall that the Shiite cleric Muqtada Sadr, head of the largest bloc in the Iraqi parliament, paid an unexpected visit to Tehran on Sept. 11. This visit caused much surprise because Sadr was reputed to be a leading opponent of Iran’s presence in Baghdad. Yet, all of a sudden, he appeared in a photo together with Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and its Middle East commander, the Al-Qods chief Gen. Qassem Soleimani. The content of their conversation in the ayatollah’s private office was never revealed. But it is self-evident that Soleimani’s participation could only mean that religion was not their main topic.

On Saturday, Oct. 5, when Prime Minister Abdel-Mahdi lifted the curfew over Baghdad, Muqtadr called for a new general election in Iraq. It may be assumed that, acting on the deal he reached during his Tehran visit, he is aiming for an election to grant his own faction plus the pro-Iranian militias’ political groups a parliamentary majority. They will then have the power to annul the prime minister’s decrees in recent weeks to disband those militias and integrate them in Iraqi army units. The door would then be open for Tehran to gain a solid foothold in Baghdad.

DJ-China's strategy in Hong Kong looks like;
1 contain it to Hong Kong avoid further spread
2 make Hong Kong suffer for the protests (less tourism, companies moving to Shanghai, economic damage)
3 put in more and more police, security forces etc. to break down protest but avoid as much as possible a major crack down.
For China Hong Kong is a local problem, keeping the economy going, in the middle of a pork-crisis, means getting more control on oil/gas around the globe.

China is buying agriculture products from eastern Russia, air defense also from Russia. The plan to send over 5000 "security staff" to protect Chinese investments in Iran is also part of the struggle.
https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/china-launches-hd-satellite-monitor-belt-and-road-projects The New Silk Road is essential for China's plan to become a major world player.
